    Hardin-Simmons University – Athletic Trainer (Full-Time)
    Location: Abilene, TX

    Hardin-Simmons University, an NCAA Division III member of the American Southwest Conference, is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer. This position serves as the primary athletic trainer for Men's Soccer, Men's & Women's Cross Country, and Track & Field.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
    • Cover assigned practices and competitions.
    • Maintain medical documentation and coordinate care with team physicians.
    • Communicate with coaches regarding student-athlete health.
    • Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, university, and NATA standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred).
    • BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
    • Texas athletic training license (or eligibility).
    • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and team travel.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Base starting salary: $50,000–$52,000, plus further consideration for experience.
    • Up to $4,000 relocation reimbursement.

    • Administration-supported work-life balance with a pool of PRN ATs for coverage when needed.
