College Athletic Trainers' Society

The Fueling Greatness Education Grant provides certified athletic trainers an opportunity to receive a $1000 education grant.  These grants are offered each spring to three (3) certified athletic trainers to help sponsor their attendance at the upcoming CATS Spring Symposium. 

Application Requirements:

• Must be a certified athletic trainer working for a college, university or junior college providing healthcare services for collegiate athletes.
• Completed application form 
• Letter from the applicant which should include the following:
• 1. Your best learning experiences, successes as a college athletic trainer, areas you want to improve as an athletic trainer, etc.
  2. How will receiving this Education Grant help you achieve greatness as a Collegiate Athletic Trainer?
  3. Personal and professional goals you hope to accomplish by attending the symposium.
• Letter of recommendation from current CATS member.  Letter should show support and recognition of AT who would benefit from an education grant to help attend the CATS symposium.  A CATS member can recommend someone they mentor, supervise or individual can be a colleague at the same or different institution.  

Applications will be reviewed by the CATS Continuing Education Grant Committee.
