This is a "live" program. You must enter Zoom when the program is live. Once you are let into Zoom your name will be time-stamped and attendance will be counted. This action will be equivalent to showing up at the registration table at a live symposium to check-in. If your name does not appear (time-stamped) on any of our 3 days of live sessions, you will not be eligible to receive a CEU certificate.
We just need one-time stamp to have your attendance counted.
Our CATS Virtual Team will receive a list of registered attendees. You must be a registered attendee to enter the program. Enter early to make sure you get into Zoom in a timely manner.
Attendees must use their name as the username so you can be identified for your BOC attendance. Avoid nicknames. If you are using your cell or unidentifiable username and you cannot change it, please send a Zoom message the CATS Virtual Team. Our CATS Virtual Team will also proactively message you if your username is not identifiable, you must share your name when requested or your attendance may not be counted.
No. You will not need to remain active during the entire conference. You may exit and re-enter as needed. Presentations will be recorded so you can go back and watch any sessions you missed live.
Please refer to Counting Attendance. Once your attendance is counted and time-stamped then you may go back to sharing a computer.
Everyone needs to use Slido to submit questions to speakers. These questions will be moderated in Vegas. Participants will be able to view all questions and upvote their favorite questions. Download the Slido app or visit CATS Slido Q&A Site and join as a participant. Meeting code: #CATS2024
Please note that questions on Zoom should be reserved for technical issues and will be managed by our CATS Virtual Team.
All available speaker handouts are available on our website. You may print preferred handouts prior to the symposium or continue to view online.
Speaker's presentation videos will be available on our website after the symposium. We will notify our members when these are available to view. You need to have an active CATS account in order to view videos.
Attendees will receive two separate emails to complete for the symposium in order to receive your CEU certificate:
"CATS 2024 Symposium Participant Assessment" (your test questions, passing score 70% or higher)
"CATS 2024 Program Evaluation"
Once you complete this assessment, we will upload your CEU certificate to your online CATS account. If you participated in past virtual symposiums the process is the same. If we make the announcement that the Participant Assessment has been emailed and you have not received it, check the following: 1) your junk mail folder, 2) your institution to see if it was grey-listed, 3) you may have opted-out of receiving Survey Monkey surveys. If these don't work then please email Josephine Lee, jlee@collegeathletictrainer.org for assistance.
Please be patient with the CEU certificate upload. Each certificate is added manually to your CATS account followed by a confirmation email.
If you answered "yes" to the registration question regarding registration for NSCA CEU then your certificate will be uploaded into your CAT account post-symposium. If you did not receive your NSCA CEU certificate, please contact Josephine Lee, jlee@collegeathletictrainer.org or Jenny Moshak, jmoshak@collegeathletictrainer.org.
