    Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine

    Blackburn College is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine to join our growing NCAA Division III athletics department. This is more than an athletic training position—it's an opportunity to lead the future of sports medicine, collaborate with a dynamic leadership team, and positively impact the lives of our student-athletes.

    Your Impact

    As the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine, you will:

    • Lead all Sports Medicine and Athletic Training operations.
    • Oversee injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and student-athlete wellness.
    • Supervise athletic training staff and student workers.
    • Collaborate with coaches, healthcare providers, and campus partners to provide holistic care.
    • Develop policies and emergency action plans that promote the health and safety of our student-athletes.
    • Help shape departmental strategy as a member of the Athletics leadership team.

    Qualifications:

    Requirements

    • Master’s Degree. 
    • NATA BOC Certification (or eligible), Illinois License Eligible.
    • Ability to work weekends and evenings and flexible hours.
