    Responsibilities

    Responsible for daily injury assessment, care, treatment, rehabilitation, and necessary medical referrals for all Soccer athletes. Provides medical coverage for all practices, regular season, and post-season home and away games. Responsible for daily operations of the Fauls Athletic Training Room in Moore & Soccer / Softball Complex

    Clinic coordinator responsible for daily operations and staff scheduling of the general medical clinic, as well as organizing and running returner physicals for all sports.

    Undergraduate clinical coordinator responsible for assigning clinical rotation assignments every semester, money disbursement during pre-season, post-season, and holidays, as well as problem-solving student issues as they arise. Also responsible for direct supervision of all undergraduate athletic training students assigned to Soccer.

    Maintain working relationships and open communication with administration, sports medicine director, coaching staff, team physicians, and other outside healthcare professionals.

    Responsible to conduct and ensure CPR compliance of all sports medicine staff and undergraduate athletic training students.

    Coordinate and oversee medical coverage for all Soccer NCAA events hosted in Tallahassee.

    Responsible for appropriate documentation of student-athlete medical records in Injury Zone and ensure all documentation is maintained in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, State of Florida, and FSU Sports Medicine policies.  Will maintain professional continuing education units and professional credentialing / licensing as outlined by the NATA and State of Florida laws.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's plus three years of experience can be substituted. Must possess or be able to obtain the National Athletic Trainers' Association certification, CPR - Red Cross, and AED certifications.
