Intern Athletic Trainer, Football – The University of Tennessee Athletics Department is accepting applications for (1) Intern Athletic Trainer position for football.  Responsibilities include: assisting in the sports medicine care for all student athletes, supervision of athletic training student assistants, daily operation and maintenance of the sports medicine facilities, along with daily practice coverage and travel with the football team. The Intern Athletic Trainer will also be expected to perform administrative duties, along with other duties as assigned by the Director of Football Sports Medicine. This position is a 12-month appointment. Anticipated start date is June/July 2026. Benefits include a monthly stipend and continuing education allotment. Current BOC Certification as an athletic trainer required. Current state licensure or immediate eligibility for state licensure in the state of Tennessee required. NFL internship or FBS football experience preferred.
