Chowan University is seeking applicants for 2 open athletic trainer positions with competitive salary and benefits with options to earn more working on-campus camps/clinics.
Chowan University is a NCAA DII institution rich in athletic tradition and invites applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. The University is a member of the Conference Carolinas with 19 intercollegiate sports and 2 developmental teams and is located on a beautiful campus in northeastern North Carolina in the historic town of Murfreesboro.
This is a full-time, 12 month position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the day-to-day functions of the athletic training room, sport coverage, student-focused wellness and well-being programming and other duties designated by the Director of Sports Medicine.
The sport assignments are still being decided but the candidate would have a Fall, Winter, and Spring sport coverage. The sport coverages per season include: soccer or volleyball/football, swimming, and men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse or baseball.
Chowan covers the costs of licensure, liability insurance, NATA dues, and offers opportunities for CEU expenses.
