University of Tulsa - Football Internship

    The University of Tulsa is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer Intern for the upcoming 2026 spring semester. Sport assignment: Football

    This position is contracted through Oklahoma Surgical Hospital. Includes monthly stipend, reimbursement for state licensure fees, and CEU opportunities. Must be BOC Certified and eligible for Oklahoma licensure prior to the start date. Team travel may be required during each team's championship season. You can expect autonomous learning as well as mentorship through these internships. There is potential to stay on for the 2026-2027 academic year, pending performance from the spring semester.

    The Certified Athletic Trainer Intern coordinates the medical care of student-athletes in assigned sports, including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. The individual will assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and possibly act as a preceptor in the master's level athletic training program. This position reports directly to the Director and Assistant Director of Athletic Training.
