    Description: The position of Assistant Athletic Trainer requires all functions normally associated with an intercollegiate athletics sports medicine program and will be bound by the university and the athletic department mission statements.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    1. Master's Degree preferred

    2. Must hold Texas Athletic Trainers' License (LAT). ATC is preferred. First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required, instructor preferred but not required

    Experience and Knowledge:

    1. One (1) to three (3) years of experience preferred but not required

    2. College level experience is preferred but not required

    Skills and Abilities:

    1. A commitment to a Christian lifestyle

    2. The ability to serve student athletes from a Christian perspective is essential

    3. Individuals who apply should have proven integrity, leadership skills, and the ability to motivate

    students to be successful academically and athletically

    Description of Institution: Employment is subject to an introductory period to monitor employee performance. If hired, the prospective employee must present documentation with three (3) days of hire date to establish their identity and employment eligibility as required by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Employee must be able and willing to travel. Must be able to operate a licensed motor vehicle and possess a valid state driver's license or have access to reliable transportation. Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver's record.
