The University of Tulsa, a member of the American Athletic Conference, is seeking multiple Certified Athletic Trainer Interns for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Anticipated start date is early July.
Potential sport assignments are Football, Soccer, Softball, Men’s Tennis, Women’s Tennis, Volleyball, and Rowing. Some team travel is required during each team's championship season. Position includes monthly stipend and reimbursement for state licensure fees. Possibility of CEU opportunities as well. Must be BOC Certified and eligible for Oklahoma licensure prior to the start date.

The Certified Athletic Trainer Intern for Sports Medicine coordinates the medical care of student-athletes in assigned sports, including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. The individual will assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and possibly act as a preceptor in the master's level athletic training program. This position reports directly to the Assistant Athletics Director for Student Health & Performance/Director of Sports Medicine.
