    Sacramento State University has added a new position to its football sports medicine staffing! With a new coach comes wonderful support and advocacy for student athlete wellness and safety.  Sacramento State recently announced, Coach Brennan Marion as the 13th Head Football Coach in school history and we cant be more excited. 

    This is a Head Football/Associate Head Athletic Trainer Position. AT II position that is represented by the California State University union, classification 2. We are looking for a candidate that has excellent experience in providing athletic training care specifically in DI FBS, FCS or NFL Football. Highly skilled in communication, organization, rehabilitation, leadership and solution oriented. Must LOVE football and providing the very best patient centered care to student-athletes. 

    Salary Range: 79-85K Annually

    Moving Package: Flight (if needed), Hotel Stay (if needed), relocation reimbursement up to 5K

    Sport Assignment: 

    Head Football responsibility only- must be dedicated to leading 2 experience certified athletic trainers that are only responsible for football sports medicine, 2 master degree students that come from various institutions and approximately 15 Sacramento State undergraduate sports medicine student interns. Strong collaboration with coaches, director of strength and conditioning, head team physician, orthopedic surgeons, compliance director, academic director, insurance coordinator, dietician and all the resource offerings of the robust Student Health, Counseling and Wellness Center.
