Brief Description:
Impact & Responsibilities: Assists with the supervision and coordination of the University's overall sports medicine and athletic training services in consultation with and under the supervision of the Director of Athletic Training Services/Head Athletic Trainer, team physician(s) and other qualified medical personnel; serves as a staff athletic trainer for assigned sport(s) by the Director of Athletic Training Services/Head Athletic Trainer; assists with the development and implementation of student athlete welfare and educational programs including but not limited to; evaluation, management, rehabilitation, referral, and administration so as to facilitate safe and expeditious return to activity for University of Northern Iowa student-athletes.; and provides instruction and supervision in the clinical setting as part of the University's Athletic Training Education Program.

Requirements: Master's Degree; certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of
Certification (NATABOC); and Athletic Training Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Iowa.
Preferred: NCAA Division I experience; experience with manual therapy rehabilitation techniques; and experience with aquatic therapy and aquatic treadmill equipment.
