Job Description:
TCU Athletic Training Sports Medicine Department is seeking one (1) Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers for 2023. Position to begin June 1, 2023. Sport Assignment: Track and Field/ Cross Country
The primary responsibilities of the position will be to assist with the coordination of the University's overall sports medicine program, including but not limited to; injury prevention, evaluation, management and treatment of injuries, short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Educate and counseling of student-athletes, and athletics related health care administration in consultation with and under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, Team Physician(s) and other qualified medical personnel. Also, responsible for event and practice coverage (including travel), keeping accurate and current medical records, assist in supervision of athletic training room operations, and other duties as assigned by the Assoc. AD-Sports Medicine.
Qualifications:
Requirements for Graduate Assistant:
1. BOC Certification
2. Graduated from a CAATE accredited program
3. Licensed or eligible for Licensure in the State of Texas
4. CPR/AED & First Aid certified
