Full Time Position - Men's Basketball and Women's Golf
The University of Tulsa has an opening for an Assistant Director for Sports Medicine position. This is a 12 month position with primary coverage of Men's Basketball and Women's Golf. Other administrative duties as assigned. The Assistant Director for Sports Medicine coordinates the medical care of student-athletes in men's basketball and women's golf, including the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. The Assistant Director for Sports Medicine will assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and possibly act as a preceptor in the masters athletic training program. There will be other administrative duties assigned based on the candidate's skillset and experience. The Assistant Director for Sports Medicine reports directly to the Assistant Athletics Director for Student Health & Performance/Director of Sports Medicine.
Required Qualifications:
BOC Certification
Eligible for Oklahoma Athletic Training Licensure
Bachelors and/or Master's degree in related field
Masters level of education obtained
Intern Positions(2) - 1. Football 2.Women's Indoor Volleyball
The University of Tulsa is seeking 2 Certified Athletic Trainer Interns, with a start date of as soon as possible.
The positions runs through May 2023. Sport assignments will be Football for one intern spot and Women's Indoor Volleyball for the second intern spot. Some team travel is required during each team's championship season. Position includes monthly stipend and reimbursement for state licensure fees. Possibility of CEU opportunities as well. Must be BOC Certified and eligible for Oklahoma licensure prior to the start date.
