The University of Nevada is looking for candidates to fill an open position with Nevada Sports Medicine, covering the Alpine Ski team.
Qualified candidates will be BOC certified, eligible for a Nevada state license, and have competency in care and prevention of athletic injuries.
Nevada Sports Medicine is composed of 11 ATCs, team physicians, graduate and undergraduate students, and enjoys community support through on campus physician services as well as off campus resources. We are looking for athletic trainers who are 1) hard working, and 2) nice people.
Given our close proximity to the Sierra Nevada/ Lake Tahoe region, our Ski program has availability for training and competing on some of the best snow in the world. We host both Women’s and Men’s Alpine Ski rosters. Secondary assignments will be coordinated during the interview process, but may include one of the following: Rehab coordinator, Golf, Summer/Fall Football. Alpine Ski will be the primary assignment.
